Amanda Evans supervises students at clinical locations, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

Amanda began her nursing career in Pediatrics at Primary Children’s Hospital before moving to a maternity department. Her specialty is in pediatric/OB/newborn nursing.

EDUCATION

Amanda holds a nursing degree from Salt Lake Community College, a BSN from Dixie State University, and a master’s in nursing education from Western Governors University.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Amanda appreciates learning as much from students as they learn from her. Nursing is a constant learning environment and Amanda enjoys sharing her experiences with the students and becoming a part of their nursing journey.

PERSONAL INTEREST

Amanda likes spending time with her family, camping, visiting the aquarium, and playing outside.
