Dr. Ann Spence teaches in the RN-BSN program and the DEMSN program.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Ann has been teaching online since 2012.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

Ann has been nursing for more than 40 years. Most of her work has been in the pediatric clinical field, with additional positions in leadership, quality, and education.

EDUCATION

Ann holds a DNP from Duquesne University, an MSN in parent child nursing from the University of Michigan, and a BSN from Michigan State University.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Ann appreciates the diversity and unique perspectives students bring to the online classroom. She encourages them to grow, learn, and expand their knowledge in new areas, and to develop professionally.

PERSONAL INTEREST

Ann likes to ballroom dance, be outside in the nice weather, visit her grandchildren, and go out to eat.
