Dr. Eleanor Franges is an online educator in the DEMSN program.
Eleanor began teaching undergraduate nursing in 2009. She started teaching at the graduate level in 2018. Her teaching experience includes clinical supervision, classroom, and online instruction.
Eleanor began her nursing career more than 45 years ago in orthopedics and critical care. For the past 20 years she has been a nurse practitioner in both inpatient and outpatient neurosurgery.
Eleanor holds a BSN-MT from St. Mary College, an MSN from Widener University, a Clinical Specialist, post master’s certificate-Adult NP from Seton Hall University, and a DNP from Wilkes University. Eleanor is certified as an online educator through Quality Matters.
Eleanor enjoys meeting with students virtually one-on-one, where they can review concepts taught and learned.
Eleanor likes to hike, ski, visit family in Colorado, and travel in general. She also enjoys reading non-nursing books such as mysteries and biographies.
