Dr. Kathleen Clark coordinates all academic and administrative departmental activities.
Kathleen has over 25 years of nursing experience. She began as a certified oncology nurse and transitioned to the informatics discipline where she worked as a systems analyst, clinical IT technologies educator, and IT manager for Siemens and Cerner and a community hospital.
Kathleen holds a BSN from South University, Tampa, Florida, an MSN in Informatics from Excelsior College, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice -Executive Leadership from Edgewood College. Kathleen is nationally certified in nursing informatics.
Kathleen enjoys working with a group of nurses who bring excellence, commitment, and a passion for mentoring the next generations of students. Her favorite part of working with students is watching them reach that “aha” moment when they finally grasp a difficult or challenging concept.
Kathleen served on the Board of Directors for Sigma Theta Tau in the Phi Kappa chapter at South University, Tampa, Florida.
Kathleen spends time hiking with her two German Shepherds and gardening. She enjoys exploring her artistic side with an occasional painting or stained glass project.
