Leah Maynard runs simulations based on a specific disease, allowing the students to treat patients as they would in the clinical setting.
Leah began teaching at Joyce University in 2020.
Leah has been a nurse for 13 years, working in acute rehab, orthopedics, and care management.
Leah holds a BSN and an MSN in Nursing Education.
Leah likes getting to know her students. Watching them develop from the first day of simulation to the last is one of the most rewarding parts of her job.
Leah enjoys spending time with her animals, especially her dog, Hugo.
