Dr. Marian Muldrow serves as an English and Composition professor.
Marian has been an educator for almost 20 years. She has also worked as an editor, curriculum writer, and reviewer. She led operations for two marketing and PR firms.
Marian holds an Educational Doctorate degree in higher education leadership and administration from Georgia Southern University, a Georgia teaching certification for grades 6-12 English, three English degrees, and a master’s in library science.
Marian’s passion for education leads her to believe that the purpose of education is to expand the minds of students, prepare, and equip them for a lifetime of learning. Education should be a pathway for students to learn more about themselves, those around them, and their overall surroundings. The most rewarding aspect of teaching for Marian is having students who do not consider themselves “good with papers” exit the course as writers.
Marian takes pleasure in traveling, trying new restaurants, and reading; the journey is best when her husband and children join her.
