Sheila Wright teaches English 220.
Sheila has been teaching college writing courses for 16 years. She also teaches critical thinking and literature courses, does freelance copyediting, and proofreads books. Prior to her academic work, Sheila had an eight-year career as a managing editor in magazine publishing.
Sheila holds a BA in English from California State University (Northridge) and an MFA in Creative Writing from Chapman University. She has a certificate in Effective College Instruction from ACUE and a TEFL certificate.
Sheila enjoys seeing the world through students’ eyes and helping them reach “a-ha” moments with the writing process. Sheila is honored to support the healthcare community through writing.
Sheila likes to nurture her Star Wars obsession, read, write, and travel.
