Our Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is a 120 credit hour program composed of 55 general education credit hours and 65 credit hours of core coursework over 6-8 semesters. Designed to provide students with the foundations of nursing theory and practical application of nursing fundamentals, some courses in this program are offered 100% online in an asynchronous format enabling our BSN students to balance their education with their lifestyle.
Coursework consists of lecture, lab, and clinical training, with several courses being offered online, asynchronous. Students will learn concepts of caring that support and integrate holistic nursing principles. The program includes foundational and advanced education for students through coursework in general education as well as fundamental nursing courses.
In addition to theory and fundamental coursework, students will gain valuable hands-on training through practical application and skill development. Students will engage in skills training through our simulation laboratory, and get real-life experience through hands-on clinicals. Our state-of-the-industry simulation equipment includes high-fidelity human patient simulators and hyper-realistic synthetic cadavers to enhance clinical and critical thinking skills.
