Our RN-to-BSN degree is a 120 credit hour program composed of 69 hours of transfer credit from an existing degree and 51 hours of core nursing coursework. Designed to get students in, out, and back to work as quickly as possible, our RN to BSN completion program is fully online and can be completed in just 20 months or up to 3 years.
The program consists of 13 courses designed to advance the skills of working nurses and prepare you for a variety of clinical and leadership positions including management. The program builds upon the foundational education of registered nurses and offers coursework in general education, as well as core nursing courses with a conceptual framework based in holistic nursing practice.
The RN-BSN program will prepare registered nurses with the knowledge and skills required to extend their practice options. Students will complete both direct and indirect practice experiences directed by the didactic faculty. Clinical practice experiences are based in the student’s state of residence and may require interviews, projects, and/or observation in healthcare facilities. Students are not required to complete supervised clinical hours.

Joyce University of Nursing and Health Sciences’ Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program has been granted programmatic accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) .
The RN to BSN Degree Completion Program has received endorsement by the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation (AHNCC). AHNCC endorsed nursing programs that have curriculum grounded in holistic nursing philosophy, theory, and concepts consistent with the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) Scope and Standards of Holistic Nursing Practice.
Endorsement of the RN to BSN program by the AHNCC allows graduates to sit for the national-level certification exam, waiving the additional requirements of practice and completion of continuing education courses. RN to BSN means Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. RN to BSN program allows nurses with an active registered nurse license (i.e nurses who have passed the NCLEX and gained RN licensure) to complete their Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree. Joyce’s RN to BSN program can be completed in just 4 semesters.
Joyce’s RN to BSN degree program is 100% online. Students are not required to come to campus for any training, enabling most out-of-state students to complete the program in their location.
