Joyce University Invites the Public to Summer Open House

Nursing Schools Hosts Music, Food, Giveaways, and Games from 10 to 2 p.m.

Salt Lake City, UT – July 15, 2022  Joyce University of Nursing and Health Sciences will host its Summer Open House on Friday, July 15. The nursing school is opening its doors to the public and invites students, nurses, prospective nurses, and those interested in the healthcare profession to take a tour of its state-of-the-industry facilities.

The institution welcomes the public to its campus to enjoy music, swag, giveaways, yard games, and food. The first 100 attendees can receive free snow cones.

At the open house, visitors can take a tour of Joyce University’s campus including the institution’s newly remodeled simulation center, its new tutoring and study space, and the new virtual reality simulation technology. In addition to the facility tour, visitors can learn about Joyce’s International Clinicals program and enjoy grilled elotes (grilled street corn) as a fundraiser for the non-profit clinical partners. Joyce’s Occupational Therapy program will offer chair massages and other demonstrations. Career Services will be offering tips for writing resumes and cover letters.

Those in attendance are welcome to participate in an onsite mobile blood drive, benefiting ARUP. Students will also get the opportunity to mingle with prospective employers. DaVita, Jordan Valley West, Health Trust, Mountain Point Medical, Enhabit Home Health and Hospice will be onsite for students to learn about future job opportunities.
