Dr. Renee Hansen is a nursing educator at Joyce University.
Dr. Hansen has been a nursing educator since 2017. She is experienced teaching undergraduate nursing education in clinical, skills, lab, simulation, and didactic formats.
Dr. Renee Hansen is an experienced, compassionate, RN. She began her nursing journey in 2003 as a CNA and became an RN in 2007. Her clinical expertise includes emergency nursing, medical-surgical nursing, travel nursing, nursing leadership, and nursing education.
Dr. Hansen belongs to Sigma Theta Tau International- Nu Upsilon Chapter. She also serves as a chair member for a DNP student. Additionally, Dr. Hansen is a member of ANA, NLN, and Phi Theta Kappa.
Dr. Renee Hansen loves helping her students become safe practicing nurses and cultivating her students’ passion to help others.
Dr. Renee Hansen has a licensed practical nursing degree and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Fox Valley Technical College. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Science in Nursing with an education emphasis, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Grand Canyon University.
Dr. Hansen enjoys spending time with family, gardening, walking, hiking, boating, fishing, taking vacations, crafts, writing, and reading.
