CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

Shirley has a 41-year nursing career. Her experience includes bedside, acute care, and outpatient nursing. She spent 13 years in management and opened a new hospital department while in that role.

EDUCATION

Shirley holds a LPN, ADN, BSN, and MSN.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Shirley likes interacting with students, watching their personal and professional growth. She enjoys sharing the students’ experiences in healthcare, which gives her an opportunity to learn.

PERSONAL INTEREST

Shirley likes to travel, sew, read, and attend theatre: movies, plays, and performances. She enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and dogs. Shirley likes to make friends and enjoy life.
