Tammy Deitrick instructs new students in their first skills lab experience.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

Tammy has worked as a community nurse in pediatrics, mental health, long-term care, home health, and hospice. She also has experience in managerial nursing roles.

EDUCATION

Tammy holds a BSN and an MSN in Nursing Education from Chamberlain University. She also attended Utah Valley University.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Tammy enjoys working with students in the beginning stages and providing them with a firm foundation to draw from in practice. She likes that “aha” moment when they realize that they really can do this.

PERSONAL INTEREST

Tammy likes to read, bake, go to and participate in theatre, spend time with horses, and discover the world through a camera lens.
