Joyce University Launches First-Ever 90-Credit Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree

Draper, Utah — KUTV Fresh Living reports that Joyce University is launching BSN90, the nation’s first accredited 90-credit Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. BSN90 offers a new pathway into nursing for qualified Utah residents, including students who do not already hold a bachelor’s degree. The program restructures and integrates required content across the curriculum without reducing what students must learn or demonstrate. BSN90 is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), the same body that accredits Joyce’s other baccalaureate nursing programs, and holds students to the same clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication, and patient care standards as every Joyce BSN graduate.

BSN90 students will complete increased hands-on clinical hours compared with Joyce’s traditional BSN program and will receive the same comprehensive NCLEX-RN licensure preparation as other Joyce nursing students. Enrollment is open now, with the first BSN90 cohort beginning spring 2027. BSN90 is a new, separate pathway and does not replace or alter Joyce’s existing nursing programs.
