Amanda Evans is a nursing simulation and skills lab instructor at Joyce University.
Before her role as an assistant professor, Amanda Evans worked as a Joyce University clinical faculty instructor.
Amanda Evans began her medical career as a pediatric medical assistant and has worked as a neurotrauma patient care technician and pediatric nurse at Primary Children’s Hospital. She has worked as a maternity nurse since 2016 and describes herself as a pediatric/OB/newborn nurse.
Amanda Evans firmly believes that she learns from her students just as much as they learn from her. As a nursing instructor, she values the opportunity to continually learn. She loves sharing her experiences with students to help them learn and grow, enjoying being part of their nursing journey.
Amanda Evans received her associate degree in nursing from Salt Lake Community College in 2015 and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Dixie State University in 2018. She completed a master’s degree in nursing education at Western Governors University in 2020.
In her spare time, Amanda Evans spends time with her family. She enjoys camping, visiting the aquarium and playing outside.
