Brooke Shelton provides on-site instruction and direction for students completing clinical rotations.
Brooke worked at Huntsman Cancer Hospital as a surgical oncology nurse for four years.
Brooke holds a BA in History and a BSN from University of Utah. She is enrolled in a FNP program at Westminster College.
Brooke enjoys the energy and enthusiasm students bring to clinicals: “It’s hard to have a bad day when you’re working with students excited for the day.” She likes the “aha” moments when the students experience what they learned in didactic and when skills come together in clinical. Brooke enjoys meeting nurses and staff at the various hospital and clinical locations and observing their passion for nursing.
Brooke believes that “a bad day fishing is still better than most days doing anything else.” Her prized National Parks pass provides her the opportunity to travel and hike in beautiful places.
